| Brief Description | Poison Dart contained within a glass tube with bungs at either end. Curare poison dart from the Amazon Valley. The tip is smeared with the Curare poison; the shaft is a slender tapered splinter of bamboo; it is feathered by some downy fibre wrapped around the butt, so as to propel it from a blow-pipe. Original handwritten paper label at one end. |
