Museum Collections

This is the online catalogue to the museum collections held by the University of Aberdeen, and you can search or browse the:

• Human culture collections (World cultures, Scottish history and archaeology, scientific instruments, coins and medals, fine art, European and Mediterranean archaeology)
• Natural science collections (herbarium, zoology, geology)
• Medical collections (anatomy, pathology and forensic medicine)

You can search across all of these collections, but can also limit your search to one of the collections by using the Advanced search ‘Collection’ drop-down list.

Please be aware that there are descriptions and images of items in the records which may be considered to be sensitive or offensive. However, to understand past perceptions we include this information for its historic value.
