Brief Description | Fragment of a seated statuette that belonged to a man named Hor-em-Wekhet, who lived in the early 18th Dynasty. Incised inscription to one side consisting of a prayer to Osiris of Abydos and the deceased king Ahmose (Jah-mes) I, the first king of the 18th dynasty. On the other side the owner's wife "Lady of the House" is depicted in a kneeling posture with a lotus flower in her hand. |
