Concave and convex lenses mounted in front of eye on an arm attached to stand. Shows the image formation on the retina (modelled by the ground glass screen). A small lever below the eyeball can make the eye long-sighted or short sighted and the application of the correct spectacle lens can be seen to bring the image on the rear screen back into focus.
