| Activity | The Reverend Andrew Hunter of Abbotshill was born in 1744, and became Professor of Divinity at the University of Edinburgh. He inherited Abbotshill from his father but sold it and instead bought the estate of Barjarg. In 1779 he married Mainie Schaw Napier, daughter of William, 6th. Lord Napier. He died in 1809 and was succeeded by his son. |
