ActivityThe North Eastern Agricultural Co-operative Society was established in 1906 and had its headquarters in Aberdeen with its main premises being in Bannermill Place from 1927 to 1998. Other branches operated from Elgin and Inverness. The object of the society was to provide members with grains, seeds and equipment at competitive prices and to offer support and advice to local farmers. The Society also operated North Eastern Limes Ltd. The Society moved from Aberdeen in December 1998 to operate wholly from their site in Turriff.
