| Activity | David Hillocks was a weaver who lived in Sparrowcroft, Forfar. He was also a Fife Major in the local militia. He is probably the same David Hillocks, weaver, who married a Jean Strang, daughter of John Strang, barber, on 6 September 1811 in Forfar. They had several children of whom the seventh was called David. He was baptised on 6 November 1825 in Forfar. |
