ActivityOperation Ship Shape was a fundraising organisation active in 1993-1994 which was established to raise funds for the repair of the Royal Research Ship the 'Discovery', housed at Discovery Point, Discovery Quay, Dundee. The 'Discovery' was built by the Dundee Shipbuilder's Company in Dundee, 1900-1901, and carried Captain Robert Falcon Scott (1868-1912), naval officer and Antarctic explorer, to Antarctica on the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904. The Maritime Trust owned the 'Discovery' until 1995 when it was sold to Dundee Heritage Trust for a 1901 £1 note.
