Shoulder sash in navy silk, with gold silk stripe down the centre and raised embroidery in gold thread depicting the towers of Kings College and Marischal College. The embroidery reads 'Aberdeen University Quater Centenary, 1906'. The sash is fastened by a strip of black elastic and a hook and eye fixture on the reverse. It is likely that the sash was worn during the Quatercentenary Celebrations of the University of Aberdeen in 1906, during the King and Queen's visit.
