Brief DescriptionFull length plaster sculpture of a male écorché figure, used for anatomical study. Naked male figure standing, head held upright and slightly to the right, with left arm bent at ninety degrees and holding 3 apples(?) in the palm of his hand. The figure holds his right arm away from his body and slightl bent inwards at the elbow, and is holding a small cylindrial item in his right hand. The right side of the body is depicted with skin and much of the muscle stripped away so as to see the skeletal anatomy underneath. The left side of the body shows the figure with skin removed only. The figure stands on a circular base. Incised on base is cast number '2545'.
