ActivityHugh Anderson was born around 1633 and graduated MA from King’s College, Aberdeen, in 1651. He remained there as a regent for another year, and was ordained and admitted to the parish of Cromarty in 1656. He was deprived by Act of Parliament in 1662 but was allowed to continue undisturbed until 1675. He returned to his estate at Udol until he was restored to his parish in 1690. He married Grizel, daughter of John Row, principal of King’s College, and died in 1704.
