| Activity | Robert Gray (d 1833) was the son of John Gray of Carntyne (d 1796). He was a coalmaster and formed a cartel between 1813 and 1817 with others to keep up the price of coal. His son was Reverend John Hamilton Gray (d 1867) who became the minister of Bolsover in 1829. |
