ActivityMoultrie R. Kelsall (1904-), actor, director and author, was born in Bearsden, Scotland in 1904. He was educated at Kelvinside Academy and obtained his MA and LLB in 1927 at Glasgow University. In the same year he joined the Scottish National Players. From 1931 he worked as a Producer for BBC Sound Broadcasting Station in Scotland. In 1936 he joined the BBC in London as writer and Director. At the outbreak of the Second World War, he directed the last transmission before the Station closed. In 1946 he left the BBC to join Merlin Films. He appeared in numerous films as an actor. In 1955 he opened the Laigh Coffee House in Edinburgh.
