| Activity | The Reverend William Stevenson (1839-1916) was educated at New College, Edinburgh University, and the University of Tubingen, Wurtenberg, 1863. He was granted a licence to preach by the Free Church Presbytery of Auchterarder, 1863 and was ordained by the Presbytery of Perth, 1864. Stevenson served in the Free Church Missionary at Madras (1864-1883) and was Secretary (1886-1916) of the Women's Foreign Missions of the Free Church and United Free Church of Scotland. He and his wife visited the South of France, 1907. |
