ActivityThe North-East Scotland Development Committee was set up in 1965 to represent Aberdeen Town Council and the County Councils of Aberdeen and Kincardine. It was expanded and continued as the North-East Scotland Development Authority - NESDA - from 1970 until 15 May 1975, representing Aberdeen Town Council and the County Councils of Aberdeen, Banff, Kincardine and Moray and Nairn. It was continued, under the same name, as the Development department of the Grampian Regional Council from 16 May 1975 until local government reorganisation in 1996.
