| Activity | The Mollison family provided several provosts of Brechin. John Mollison was Provost from 1747 to 1767 and his son, also John, was provost from 1767 to 1788. Thomas Mollison, son of the younger John Mollison, was provost from 1800 to 1815. All of the family had dealings with the Brechin Volunteers. |
