| Activity | Forfar Prison used to be housed in the Forfar Town House but moved to a location on Market Street in 1834. A new prison was designed by David Smith of Dundee. It was used as a prison until well into the twentieth century when it was converted into offices for Angus County Council. It is now known as County Buildings. |
