ActivityThe East End Angling Club was founded on the 14 January 1899 at Mr Stewart's Volunteer Arms in Forfar. Its objective was to promote fishing. At its inaugural meeting it was agreed that every person wishing to become a member was to pay 2s, and 1s 6d annually. Meetings were held monthly, and the Club also held regular competitions. The Club is no longer in existence.
