| Activity | The Co-operative Women's Guild was established in 1883 and membership spread to Scotland over the next ten years. The Dalkeith branch of the Scottish Co-operative Women's Guild was formed in 1917. Its aims were greater understanding and the promulgation of co-operation, and at their meetings they discussed the important issues of the day, such as women's suffrage, home rule and pension schemes. |
