Activity | James Milton Robb (d 1944) was the son of Walter Robb. During the Second World War he was a USA prisoner-of-war held by the Japanese in the Philippines from December 1941 until his death in December 1944. During his imprisonment he kept a journal of daily life at the camps which was encased in a metal box and buried for safekeeping. Robb’s father, Walter, traced the manuscript, entitled 'Carry On!' although its publication was blocked by USA authorities. |
