ActivityThe first Methodist society to be established in Dundee met in Tally Street from 1759. In 1867 the congregation moved to a new building in Ward Street. Originally a Primitive Methodists Society they later became independent Methodists and then Wesleyan Methodists in 1864. In 1918 the society joined the Ward Road Wesleyan Society. In 1962 Ward Road Methodist Church was re-opened and dedicated. In 1970 the church united with Beechwood Methodist Chapel.
