| Activity | John Morgan bequeathed £70,000 to found the Morgan Hospital in Dundee to educate 100 boys. It was designed by Peddie and Kinnear between 1863 and 1866 and opened in 1868. In 1889 the Hospital was converted into Morgan Academy, a secondary school. |
