Activity | This church originated with the Scotch Baptist Congregation in Seagate. In 1810, a group broke away from this congregation and moved to Baltic Street. In 1835, a further move took place -this time, to Meadowside. In the 1850's a split occurred in the Meadowside congregation. One group moved to the Thistle Hall in the Nion Street, then to Lamb's Hall in Reform Street, and, finally to Constitution Road. On 22 September 1878, the Meadowside congregation moved to a new church at Rattray Street. Rattray Street amalgamated with Ward Road Church in 1987. |
