ActivityThe New Independent Church of Dundee was established in 1839 and built the Princes Street Independent Chapel. After 1848, there was conflict within the congregation over the proposed sale of church property which resulted in the pastor and a large section of the church migrating to Castle Street on 1 January 1855. The Princes Street Congregational Church was formally closed on 31 December 1957, its assets were divided among other Congregational Churches and the organ was gifted to Dumfries.
