Brief DescriptionNecklace or string of beads in light grey/ white quartz/ agate, alabaster and recycled glass. Made from 32 carved/ moulded beads of varying sizes and shapes, some are more highly polished than others. Some of the beads may be recycled glass 'krobo' beads. Original label accompanying object reads 'From tumuli, Early Egyptian?'. Tumuli or tumulus is the term for a heaped burial mound.
