Brief DescriptionLarge, deep bowl made from hollowed out calabash fruit. Incised pokerwork designs decorating the exterior consisting of a diamond-shaped design on bottom of base, cross-hatched lines, wide bands around body of bowl and four circular motifs with zig-zag patterns inside them. Written in black ink on the inside of the bowl 'Calabash basket from coast of West Africa'.
