Brief Description
Skull of adult male, has been anatomised and calvaria re-attched with metal pins/ staples. Some chipping of left parietal and frontal near to the incision cut of the calvaria. All nasal bones missing, some damage to orbital bones. Wormian at left asterion and parietals are slightly asymmetric. Edentate but sockets show no bone growth - teeth pulled? Lower mandible is attached to cranium with metal wire.

1980s Skull List entry: 'Male - no details. The skull cap is cut (anatomised?) and there are what appears to be 3 very small lead beads within the cut'.
1923 Skull Catalogue entry: 'Of Japanese. Presented by James Troup, Esq., M.B. in 1896. Large external Pterygoid plates'.
