Brief DescriptionHistory Lesson, a graffiti-style collage in ink, pencil, watercolour and gouache on a rough whitewashed canvas. It once decorated student residences on campus. The artist was imitating the scribbles often found in public bathrooms and includes many puns and innuendos. Steel frame that may have been selected to mirror the type of chrome and steel fittings found in many public bathrooms. Unfinished painting to the reverse.
