| Brief Description | Double strand necklace made of twisted vegetable fibre cord with continuous row of shiny orange-coloured seed beads attached. Each seed is perforated at the top and bottom end. The seeds are in very good condition. The ends of the double length of cord are knotted together in one place only. A piece of thick green wire was twisted around this object with a sticky label attached that read: "31. BIAMI" - this has been removed to avoid any damage to the object. Small modern paper label attached reads: "269982" on one side and "31" on the other. "Collected while on photographic assignments 1962 - December 1977: 31. Seed Necklaces. Four varieties". |
