Brief DescriptionWide-brimmed conical sun hat (Malfa) in woven grass, ornamented with sections of died red leather around the edge of the rim and on the top of the hat. The top of the hat features a wooden button/ knob covered in leather, known as the 'mount of the world'. The middle of the hat is adorned with two smaller buttons covered in red cotton fabric, and edged in black and white leather thonging. The wide brim is stiffened on the underside with by 4 leather covered hoops (possibly cane).
