| Object History Note | Margaret Swift went out to the Belgian Congo in 1936 as a missionary for the Baptist Missionary Society. Whilst there, she worked as a teacher in Yakusu and Yalemba. The items in this collection were mainly given to her as gifts from local tribe pupils and their grateful famillies. |
