Brief DescriptionA sporran believed to have belonged to James Stewart of Inchbreck in the Mearns who served a Captain and Adjutant in Lord Ogilvys regiment and escaped to France after 1745. A note found in the sporran claims that it was carried by Stewart at the Battle of Culloden. The sporran also contains a musket ball and two pistol bullets.
