Caption "This bone ring was found in cist 6 at Borrowstone, Kingswells, Newhills, Aberdeenshire. The burial was a rich one and held the body of a man who had been buried with his archer’s equipment, even the organic remains of the bow were visible on excavation. The bone ring is carved from a section of long bone and has been rounded carefully. Two ridges formed around the waist make a groove, which runs through a hole in a lug on one side. The bone ring is thought to be part of a belt, as it was found at the hip of the flexed skeleton."
