Brief DescriptionBeaded mukluks in red fabric with skin soles, fur ruffs around the calf, blue tassles and beadwork at the top of the boot and on the top of the foot.
"Many of the women at the posts where Angus Pelham Burn worked did beadwork. Though their work was not necessarily sold in the HBC stores, they often would make clothing on commission for Company staff. These mukluks were made for Angus either at South Indian Lake or at Lac Seul." (Material Histories project website, 2007)
