Brief Description | Long panelled headdress made of plaited vegetable fibre, decorated with red, yellow and green feathers. There are a number of black and white feathers at one end. There are six transverse panels and twelve groups of strands at one end. Some of the strands at the other end are damaged. Melanesia Slip Catalogue: "83+9P.
