Brief DescriptionMulti-coloured floral beadwork design, red cloth on underside of flaps, fine deer hide. Made from 3 pieces. Main part of the upper is fine hide with the cuffs sewn on separately from thicker hide. Below the top cuff is a secondary cuff comprising red felt "stroud" edged with blue silk trim that has been machine-sewn on. Shoe laces tied at back. The beads are 'greasy' colours of pink, blue, brown, green, red, yellow and white. The soles are made from reused parfleche containers, decoration from these reused containers can be seen on the inside of the sole. Sole is stiched to the upper. No sign of wear. Probably worn by a woman or teenage boy.
