Administrative HistoryAberdeenshire Harriers was founded in 1888 but ceased to operate in 1950 and Aberdeen Y.M.C.A. Harriers was founded in 1912 but ceased to operate in 1939. The North Eastern Harriers' Association organised competitions between the athletic clubs in Aberdeen in the inter-war period, 1919 - 1938. A.A.A.C. was founded in 1952 and is still an active club.
