<dc:title>Lantern slides of or relating chiefly to animal and human anatomy</dc:title>
<dc:description>Series of lantern slides originally stored in a six-drawer chest. The slides are largely numbered, though not in sequence, and most provide a descriptive title.
The symbols for male and female occasionally appear on these slides. As such symbols cannot be inserted in this database, the names of the sexes are placed in square brackets instead i.e. [female] and [male]. This method is also used for other symbols e.g. a square symbol is entered in the record as [square].</dc:description>
