Anthropometrical Laboratory Register of Fingerprints: Aberdeen Constabulary This register is of the same format as the student Registers of Fingerprints described in UNIVERSITY 1332/5/2/1 - 7, and like them, seems originally to have been accompanied by a Register of Observations (see UNIVERSITY 1332/5/1/1 - 6). Entries in each register are arranged alphabetically by surname. However, each individual also has an observation number, which will presumably have correlated with their respective entry in a Register of Observations. N.B. Registers of Observations for the Northern Constabulary do not survive. 1896 - 1900
