  <dc:title>Correspondence with Aberdeen Medico-Chirurgical Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Professor Robert Lockhart's general correspondence file with the Society, covering his period of presidency and afterwards, 1951 - 1961. Contains much routine correspondence, but also, on-going discussion over a period of years, regarding the sculptor (thought to be Hugo Wolfgang Rheinold) of a bronze statue of a monkey examining a human skull, which was bequeathed to the society by Dr David Rorie (photographs enclosed). Also includes a typed copy of the Society's laws, enacted 3 December 1953, and printed members' lists and statements of accounts for 1955 and 1959.</dc:description>
