  <dc:description>30 page report assessing the JIM atmospheric diving suit, including the results of a series of practical trials on the suit, a description of the major operational aspects of the suit and recommendations for further development of the suit for the use of the Ministry of Defence. The potential for the commercial use of the suit is also considered. The trials covered include three series at Portland, Dorset, open sea trials from HMS Reclaim in 1972 and Royal Naval Physiological Laboratory trials in a test tank facility. A log of the third series of trials is included in an appendix and the report also includes 28 illustrations of various models of the suit and the testing procedures.</dc:description>
