In 1656 Dr William Guild made a deed of mortification to the Hospital in Old Aberdeen under which six women were to receive 5 shillings annually at Christmas. This bundle contains two contemporary notarial  copy writs of this mortification:

1.	Attested double mortification by Dr William Guild to the Hospital and Poor of Old Aberdeen, 19 December 1656

2.	Attested double disposition by Christian Guild, sister and heir of the late Dr William Guild, confirming the above mortification, 12 November 1666</dc:description>
