  <dc:description>Loose letter from Professor Peter Wells to Professor Mallard about the Institute of Physics and Engineering (IPEM) John Mallard Lecture at the United Kingdom Radiological Congress (UKRC) which he gave in 2008.  The title of the lecture was "Ultrasonic Imaging: an Holistic view" and appeared well received.  Professor Wells was sorry Professor Mallard was unable to make the lecture but felt privileged to honour him in this way.
