  <dc:description>Article entitled 'The First Century of Hospital Physics 1895-1995: the evolution of Medical Imaging1945-1995, with Aberdeen's Role 1965-1995' by Professor Mallard and published in 'To the Greit support and Advancement of Helth', Papers on the History of Medicine in Aberdeen, arising from a Conference held during the Quincetenary Year of Aberdeen University, Aberdeen History of Medicine Publications, 1996.  This book also has three pieces of correspondance associated with it: a letter to Professor Mallard from David Smith, Department of History and Economic History, University of Aberdeen asking him to carefully check his article as a large number of amendments have been made during editing, a letter from Fiona Watson (National Health Service) Archivist dated 20 February 1996 to Professor Mallard informing him of progress towards pulication of the book and finally a photocopy of a favourable review of the book in Scottish Local History Journal, volume 38, October 1996.
