<dc:title>Manuscript concerning the Rev John Skinner, (1721 - 1807) episcopal minister at Longside, Banff.</dc:title>
<dc:description>Manuscript concerning the Rev John Skinner, (1721 - 1807) episcopal minister at Linshart near Longside in Banff for 65 years, and father of Bishop John Skinner of Aberdeen. The manuscript contains a preamble which details the Rev Skinner's probity and good standing before continuing to describe how Skinner's friend, a Mr Ferguson of Pitfour, had offered material assistance to Skinner in his advanced years, only to have his offer declined, apparently in the form of a 26-line ballad. The ballad is also included in the manuscript.</dc:description>
