Comments focus principally upon the volume of illustrations in the book and their careful integration within the text. Many also make particular note of the chapter on the nervous system. In connection to the dispute about authorship (see MS 3750/1/7), the review from the 'Lancet' (1959) appears to assign most of the credit to Lockhart: 'Professor Lockhart's book'. Also included is a copy of an article from 'Durrant's' 'The News' (February 1969). The article, entitled 'Fareham Girl Gets Into the Picture', refers to a girl who took a photograph of her brother 'engrossed in a book about human anatomy' - the book in question was 'Anatomy of the Human Body'. 1959 - 1969
