Examples of topics covered in the letters include: damage of hemp and planting marked for J B H Greenock and stored on one of the Company's vessels; incorrect delivery of sundry goods; transportation of goods on the Forth post; lists of goods charges; weather conditions; details regarding ship routes and ports of call.
