Materials relating to the Rev. Dr James Hastings Collection of papers (mainly copies) and photographs relating to Dr James Hastings (1852 - 1922), minister of St Cyrus U.F. Church. Much of the material concerns a patchwork bedspread presented to Dr Hastings on his retirement in 1911 by his congregation; in 2003 this bedspread was presented by Prudence Kennard to Aberdeen Art Gallery. Photographs of the illuminated presentation volume and of a plan of the bedspread are included, together with Mrs Kennard's correspondence regarding the donation of the bedspread other original and photocopied material concerning Dr Hastings' career. 2003 and undated c. 2003
