Letter to the General from Stewart Reporting that the bombardment of Rosetta continued "in great style" and that a blind Arab escaped from the town. Reports the determination of Ali Bey to hold out in spite of the wishes of the inhabitants. He States that he is considering the establishment of a redoubt on the right bank of the river to help when the Mamelouks arrive. April 17th 1807
