St George's, Mieklefolla (or Folla Rule) The church of St George's Meiklefolla has a significant amount of material that comprises: registers, meeting papers, correspondence, legal and financial papers, membership and personal papers, papers relating to St George's Church Society and the church school of Meiklefolla. The sacramental registers include registers of baptisms, burials, marriages, services and registers of communicants. Other official documentation includes minute books of general meetings, poor funds and congregational managers with legal papers relating to property ownership. In addition to official documentation the papers contain membership papers that include lists of stranger preachers and members of the church. Alongside these lists is a manuscript written by William Leslie and Arthur Petrie that includes diary entries relating to the church and a history of the church. The related Church Society minute book is also contained within the papers of the church with a small amount of papers for the school and Sunday school, which includes attendance registers. 1774 - 1981
